It is an honor for me to announce the 24th International Conference of the Society for Medical Innovation and Technology (SMIT) to be held in Barcelona on September 2012.
We expect the upcoming conference to represent a formidable scientific and innovative experience for all the attendants and specialists in the field who will have the chance to keep up with recent developments,breakthrough equipment, cutting edge techniques and extensive discussions on debatable issues in minimally invasive therapies.
Barcelona is considered for its architecture and climate. Nevertheles, being more than a touristic city, it is the heart of the Bioregió de Catalunya (BIOCAT) hosting several Technological Parcs as the Parc de Salut in Sabadell, facing technological health related challenges.
